The Mayor and Mayoress will attend a Long Service Award Presentation, organised by SSG Support Services, at 9am in the Mayor's Parlour, City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland. During the event, the Mayor will congratulate the recipient and present an award in recognition of their long service.

The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the Sunderland Recovery College Celebration Event at 10.45am, which will be held at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland. During the event, the Mayor will congratulate learners on their achievements and present certificates for successfully completing their course.

The Mayor and Mayoress will support the Mayoress of South Tyneside at her 'Mayoress at Home' Event, taking place at 3pm in the Reception Room, South Shields Town Hall, South Shields. All proceeds raised at the event will be donated to the Mayor of South Tyneside's chosen charities for 2026-2027.

The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the opening of the Armed Forces Breakfast Club's new kitchen facilities at Humbledon and Plains Farm Sports and Social Club, Premier Road, Sunderland. During the event, the Mayor will deliver a short speech before formally declaring the new facilities open.

The Mayor and Mayoress will attend Sunderland Symphony Orchestra's Summer Concert at 6.25pm which will be held in St Gabriel's Church, Chester Road, Sunderland.

Honorary Alderman Wood will attend the Sunderland Male Voice Choir Summer Concert at 6.40pm which will be held at St Chad's Church, East Herrington, Sunderland.
