The Mayor and Deputy Mayor will attend a pre-council meeting at 2pm followed by the full council meeting at 4pm which will be taking place at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA.

The Mayor will join the 101st Northumbrian Regiment Royal Artillery for their annual Beating Retreat at 6.15pm which will be taking place at the Kingston Park Army Reserve Centre, Airport Industrial Estate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 2EF.

The Mayor and Mayoress will host the annual Armed Forces Day Reception and Flag Raising Ceremony to highlight the City's appreciation of our Armed Forces community, from those currently serving, service families, veterans, cadets, and reservists. This will take place in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Sunderland and is a public reception, guests are to arrive at City Hall by no later than 9.45am.
The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Consort will attend the Blossom Through a Wearside Lens Photography Competition which is being held at Washington Old Town Hall at 9.45am. The Deputy Mayor will announce and congratulate winners of the competition.
The Mayor and Mayoress will attend Sunderland City Council's annual Star Awards in celebration of employee achievements which is being held at the Fire Station, High Street West, Sunderland at 2.45pm.
The Mayor and Mayoress will join Redhouse Community Centre and the Royal Antediluvian Order of the Buffaloes charity social evening, which is being held at Redhouse Community Centre, Rutherglen Road, Sunderland at 8pm.The Mayor will say a few words to thank everyone involved for holding the event which is raising much needed funds for Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient charity and Veterans in Crisis.

The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the Sunderland Armed Forces Weekend at 9.30am which will be taking place in Recreational Park, Seaburn Terrace, Seaburn, Sunderland. The Mayor will raise the Armed Forces Flag to officially open the event.
