Register to place scaffolding and hoarding on the highway
Prior to any permit being issued, the relevant scaffolding or hoarding contractor must be registered with Sunderland City Council.
A scaffold or hoarding permit will be issued electronically and sent to the email address you provide.
Until you receive your permit, the scaffold or hoarding must not be placed on the highway.

There are additional fees for each elevation (per elevation) for up to 28 days:
