Mayor's fundraising

Another important role of the Mayor, a one the Mayor is always very passionate about, is to support a few local charities and good causes.

Each Year the Mayor promotes their chosen charities and good causes and raises funds for them by hosting charity events throughout their year in office.

The Mayor for 2025-26, Councillor Ehthesham Haque is supporting Hopespring and Love, Amelia. Both charities heavily rely upon donations to help fund their services and allow them to continue to support residents and young people in the local community.
