Another important role of the Mayor, a one the Mayor is always very passionate about, is to support a few local good causes.

Each year the Mayor promotes his chosen charities and good causes and raises funds for them by hosting charity events throughout his year in office.

During the Mayors first year in office he chose to support Washington MIND and Veterans in Crisis. As the Mayor has agreed to a further term of office due to the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic, he will continue to support these charities during his tenure.
