Planned System Maintenance - Limited Service

Sunderland City Council will be carrying out planned system maintenance from 12 noon on Friday 5th June until 7am on Tuesday 9th June. During this period, we will only be able to respond to urgent enquiries. If your enquiry is not urgent, please contact us before or after these times when full services will be available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Chapelgarth public path extinguishment order

Sunderland City Council has submitted the Extinguishment Order and outstanding objections to the Secretary of State for determination, this page will be updated as this matter progresses.

The Secretary of State has decided to hold a Public Inquiry in order to help determine this matter, this has been set for 1st May 2018 to 3rd May 2018, Committee Room 1, Sunderland Civic Centre. Site and Press Notices have been posted to advise of this.

UPDATE: Sunderland City Council and Siglion have submitted their Proof's of Evidence to the Secretary of State,  a link to copies of these can be found on this page.
