Planned System Maintenance - Limited Service

Sunderland City Council will be carrying out planned system maintenance from 12 noon on Friday 5th June until 7am on Tuesday 9th June. During this period, we will only be able to respond to urgent enquiries. If your enquiry is not urgent, please contact us before or after these times when full services will be available. Major resurfacing works

Drivers are being advised of major highways resurfacing works on the seafront in Roker and Seaburn, and along Dame Dorothy Street.

Traffic management arrangements will be in place and diversions signposted on site.

The resurfacing works are scheduled for:

Tuesday 6 to Friday 9 May on Roker Terrace
Monday 12 to Tuesday 13 May on Whitburn Road opposite Seaburn Park
Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 May on Dame Dorothy Street between Bede Street and Roker Avenue
Monday 19 May to Wednesday 21 May on Dame Dorothy Street between Roker Avenue and Liberty Way
Thursday 22 to Friday 23 May on Dame Dorothy Street between Liberty Way and Church Street North
