Planned System Maintenance - Limited Service

Sunderland City Council will be carrying out planned system maintenance from 12 noon on Friday 5th June until 7am on Tuesday 9th June. During this period, we will only be able to respond to urgent enquiries. If your enquiry is not urgent, please contact us before or after these times when full services will be available. Mobile homes register

The Mobile Homes (Requirement for Manager of Site to be Fit and Proper Person) (England) Regulations 2020 (hereafter 'the Regulations) prohibit the use of land as a residential mobile home site unless the local authority is satisfied that the owner or manager of the site is a fit and proper person to manage the site. The purpose of the fit and proper person test is to improve the standards of park (mobile) home site management.

Local authorities will be required to:

(a) establish and keep up to date a register of persons who they are satisfied are fit and proper persons to manage a relevant protected site in their area;

(b) make the register open to inspection by members of the public at the offices of the local authority during normal office hours; and
