Consultation on admissions arrangements 2019-2020

Sunderland Local Authority is required to consult annually upon the admission arrangements for schools within its area. The consultation for the admission arrangements for the academic year 2019/20 runs from 30 October until 15 December 2017.

Please see below a copy of the proposed Co-ordinated schemes, timetables, Published Admission Numbers (PAN) and admission criteria (Community and Controlled schools only).

If any aided/free schools or academies have requested the Local Authority to carry out the consultation on their behalf, the criteria will be published below.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle are consulting on behalf of the RC schools in their area. The documents are listed below and can also be viewed on their website at Diocesan Department for Education.

The consultation will run from 4 December 2017 to 22 January 2018. Any comments should be sent to the School Admissions Team or the individual school.

Any other comments need to be received by no later than 15 December 2017 either by email school.admissions@sunderland.gov.uk or by post to School Admissions Team, People Services, Civic Centre, Sunderland SR2 7DN.
