Washington Pride in Place Programme Board

As part of Pride in Place Programme Phase 1, the government announced an investment programme into local towns, including Washington.
As a result, Washington will receive £20 million over 10 years, with the funding to be spent on three key areas:
- Building thriving places
- Strengthening communities
- Ensuring residents' views are at the heart of decision-making
The Washington Pride in Place Programme Board has been asking residents for their views to shape the Regeneration Plan. Thank you to all who have taken part either by speaking to us in person or completing the Your Sunderland survey (opens new window).
