Maintenance of weeds
We are responsible for the maintenance of weeds on designated, council-maintained public areas, which takes place twice a year between April and October. The application of herbicide is applied to adopted highways and footpaths bi-annually. We make every effort to coordinate the first treatment with the driest and calmest weather conditions at the start of the growing season, and then proceed with a full second treatment mid-summer to maximise and prolong its effectiveness into the late summer and autumn period, however weedkilling is weather dependent.
