Sunderland Business Improvement District
The counting of votes on a proposal to renew a Business Improvement District (BID) called SunderlandBID for an area around Sunderland City Centre took place on Thursday 29 November 2018. The result of the election can be found in the downloads section on this page.
The ballot was taken entirely by post, where votes had to be returned by 5pm on the day of the ballot, which was Wednesday 28 November 2018. The Ballot Holder was Patrick Melia, the Chief Executive and Returning Officer for Sunderland City Council.
This ballot was being run by Sunderland City Council on behalf of SunderlandBID (Sunderland Business Improvement District Ltd).
