Local licensed venues

Civil weddings can take place in any venue in England and Wales if they have a licence for the solemnization of marriage by the Local Authority.

If you choose to marry in a licenced venue, you will need to book a Registrar to attend.  This can be up to 2 years in advance of the ceremony.  Please check the Registrar will be available before confirming the booking with your venue.
