The project will recruit and manage volunteer COVID champions to extend the reach into BAME communities (in particular the refugee and asylum seeker community) with the purpose of improving knowledge of COVID, combatting disinformation (especially in relation to the COVID vaccine), increasing vaccine uptake and generally promoting support available to targeted communities.
