Washington Neighbourhood Programme Board
As part of a new plan for neighbourhoods, the government announced an investment programme into local towns, including Washington.
As a result, Washington will receive £20 million over 10 years, with the funding to be spend on three key areas:
- Building thriving places
- Strengthening communities
- Empowering people to take back control
We will be working closely with partners and residents in Washington to create the Neighbourhood plan. This will be led by a Washington Neighbourhood Programme Board.
