Sunderland Libraries Literature Festival 2023
Sunderland Libraries Literature Festival is back and is taking place from Monday 16 to Saturday 28 October. There's a large variety of literary author talks, local history lectures and workshops for both adults and children. You can find out what's on offer in the Literature Festival 2023 programme of events.

School Holiday Craft Activities
Sunderland Libraries host craft activities during the school holidays these are held on the following days during school holidays only.
City City Library @ The Museum and Winter Gardens - Tuesdays 2.30 - 3.30pm and Thursdays 2.30 - 3.30pm
Houghton Library - Wednesdays 2.30 - 3.30pm and Fridays 2.30 - 3.30pm
Washington Town Centre Library - Tuesdays 2.30 - 3.30pm and Thursdays 2.30 - 3.30pm

Visit Sunderland Libraries to enjoy our lively rhyme time sessions every week at -

Learn how to investigate your family history with a short introduction to Find My Past.
Reading groups
Take your reading group meeting online - whether you are continuing an established reading group or interested in starting a new one we can provide free eBooks for your group.
To access the current eBook title each person in the group needs to be a member of Sunderland Libraries Services, if you aren't a member you can join online. You will also need to have access to a device/tablet/phone to download the BorrowBox app.
BorrowBox eBooks can be downloaded by multiple users, so all of your group can read the same title together. Look out for the section called 'Campaign Title'. These titles change from month to month so it's worth checking regularly.
