Covid-19 vaccine
The coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines are safe and effective. They give you the best protection against Covid-19.
Even if you have had a Covid infection before, you will get more protection from the vaccine, and it is important you get all the recommended doses.
Covid-19 Boosters
Covid-19 vaccine booster doses are offered seasonally. They're an important part of protecting yourself from Covid-19 if you're at increased risk.
People aged 75 and over, and those aged 5 and over who are immunosuppressed, are eligible for a Spring Covid-19 booster vaccine.
If you're eligible, the NHS will contact you when it's your turn to be vaccinated. You do not need to be up to date with your previous vaccinations to take up the offer of the spring booster.
