Councillor Miles Elliott

07 May 2015

I was brought up in Roker and off Newcastle Road, during which time I studied at Redby Primary School, Monkwearmouth Comprehensive and later at St Robert of Newminster Sixth Form, Washington.

Since becoming a Councillor for Southwick Ward in 2015 I have learned that the most important part of my work is to be in touch with local people and their thoughts and aspirations, as well as their problems and concerns.

I am out and about knocking on doors in Southwick, Marley Pots, Carley Hill and off Newcastle Road most weeks to hear first-hand from people about the issues that concern them most.  With the best will in the world it is impossible to be on every doorstep every weekend so if you would like my help please do not hesitate to get in touch using the contact details above at any time.
