I was born and brought up in Silksworth, so I was delighted to be elected as a local Councillor in 1999.  My family has a long history within the Labour Party with past relatives also representing as Councillors.  Before becoming a Councillor I worked for the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals).



I hold my Ward Surgery every last Thursday of the month (except August and December) between 5.00pm and 6.00pm in Silksworth Community Centre.
