The Mayor will be attending RAF Boulmer's Annual Reception at the invitation of Wing Commander Joe Redhead. The reception will be held at the Dowding Centre, Ops Site, NE66 3AS, beginning at 5.30pm.

The Mayor and Mayoress will attend the 1940's Weekend at Springwell Village Community Venue in Washington. The Mayor will officially open the event before meeting organisers and speaking with members of the public throughout the day. Their visit will help celebrate the community's efforts in bringing this popular heritage event to life.

As part of the 1940's weekend, the Mayor and Mayoress will also visit Bowes Railway as it celebrates its Bicentenary. During the visit, the Mayor will unveil a replica coal tub created to mark 200 years of the historic railway and its contribution to the region's industrial heritage.

The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Consort will attend Bishopwearmouth Choral Society's Summer Concert at 6.50pm, taking place at Sunderland Minster, High Street West, Sunderland.
