Michael Erskine - Needle and Wet Felting - Beginners

Who is this course for?

Adults who would like to develop their crafting and design skills, confidence and mental wellbeing.

What will I learn on the course?

You will build confidence and skills in needle and wet felting in a safe and friendly environment and learn how to:

• Develop your needle felting techniques
• Use different types of needles, roving and embroidery floss
• Develop your wet felting technique on soap and polystyrene shapes
• Personalise with hand embroidery techniques
• Produce quality items with a professional finish

How will I learn?

Your tutor will support you to set appropriate targets at the start of the course to guide your learning. They will offer a range of activities that will enable you to compile a small portfolio and practical activities to develop your skills, knowledge and confidence. There will be one to ones, group discussions with course content being adapted to the needs of the learner.

You could progress onto further learning or seek volunteering opportunities.
