Foundation of Light - Healthy Summer Sports Activities
Who is this course for?
Those who would like to improve their knowledge around physical, mental and nutritional health. Completing this course will give you the skills and confidence to lead a healthier lifestyle.
What will I learn on the course?
You will build confidence in creating a healthy lifestyle. You will work on a range of activities, and focus on:
- Physical health and strategies to improve
- Mental health and way to manage daily life
- Nutritional guidance and maintaining a balance diet
- Various sport activities to help improve lifestyles
How will I learn?
You will set appropriate targets at the start of the course to guide your learning. You will then complete a range of activities, such as direct teaching, discussion and practical activities to gain, develop and embed heathy habits and strategies. Throughout the course your tutor will assess you by looking at your work, asking questions and observing as you join in with discussions and practical activities
What next, after the course?
Participants may wish to enrol on more formal qualifications in health and wellbeing.
