Northern Rights - Functional Skills Maths

Who is this course for?

For those who would like to develop maths skills to support applying for jobs and in daily life.

What will I learn on the course?

You will develop your confidence and knowledge of:

• Number
• Shape, space and measures
• Percentages
• Understanding and using data
• Everyday maths

How will I learn?

Your tutor will support you to set appropriate targets at the start of the course to guide your learning. They will offer a range of activities, such as direct teaching, discussion and tasks to develop your skills and knowledge. Throughout the course your tutor will assess you by looking at your work, asking questions and observing as you join in with discussions. There will be an assessment at the end of the course

What next, after the course?

You could progress onto a higher level maths course, update your CV and access employability courses.
