What face-to-face domestic abuse training is available?

There are three levels of Domestic violence and abuse training course information in Sunderland , each lasting a full day. These courses are available to anyone who works with vulnerable people, children and their families in Sunderland.

  1. Level 1 - Understanding coercive and controlling behaviour (mandatory e-learning to be completed prior to training)

  2. Level 2 - Dealing with a domestic violence and abuse (DVA) disclosure, Risk assessment, Risk management and safety planning (mandatory completion of level 1)

  3. Level 3 - Impact of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) on children and young people, Dealing with complex needs and Perpetrator behaviour (mandatory completion of levels 1 and 2)
