Ontrack
ontrackOn Track is an award winning project based in Washington that works with children aged 4-13 and their families who are vulnerable and in need.
On Track are part of the Youth Offending Service prevention strategy, and aim to prevent and reduce risk. The key principles of the project are Prevention, Partnership and Participation.
The team work with children and young people individually and in groups tackling issues such as emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental ill health, offending and anti-social behaviour, problems at school, loss and bereavement, and problems at home. On track often involve children in the design and delivery of their services, with one young man designing a pack of anti-bullying cards.
On Track also work with parents regarding boundaries, discipline and family relationships.
On Track regularly co-ordinate raising awareness campaigns such as the Washington Anti-bullying event, and the Good But Misunderstood art project, and have recently designed the "On track the board game".
