Sunderland Youth Offending Service offers a number of services. These have been outlined below:

• Preventative Services: Sunderland Youth Offending Service works with young people who are at risk of offending.
• Pre-court Services: This involves working with young people who have offended for the first and second time
• Court Services: There are a number of court services which include Appropriate adult services
• Supervision in the Community: When a young person receives a community based court order, we supervise them
• Custodial Services: We work with young people to support young people serving custodial sentences.

Sunderland Youth Offending Service, in both its employment practices and in the provision of its services, recognises the diversity of the people and communities of Sunderland. It also recognises that many groups suffer direct or indirect discrimination in society and this can exclude them from full access, choice and opportunities within the community.
