Housing Strategy 2006 - 2011  (858kb) pdf   - The Housing Strategy for Sunderland was approved by the Government Office for the North East, Sunderland City Council's Cabinet and achieved fit for purpose in September 2006. 

Homelessness Strategy  - Homelessness is still one of the most serious problems facing housing authorities today.
Sunderland Council has reviewed homelessness and drawn up a Homelessness Strategy to tackle and prevent it.
