The Council maintains around 43,000 street lights.

If you notice a street light out in your area you can either contact us on (0800) 3287658 (24 Hours) or report the fault online via our street light reporting service.

Ideally you should report the street light number, which is usually located on the column approximately 1.8 metres from the ground. Alternatively a description of the location with as much information as possible should enable us to locate and repair the problem light. eg; outside Number 99 Fawcett Street, together with the area, village or town.
