Visually Impaired Reading Groups

Sunderland Public Libraries host two Visually Impaired Persons Reading Groups. 

Members of these groups meet on a monthly basis to discuss books they have read. 

The Talking Books are provided by the Library Service and members receive copies one month in advance in order that everybody has time to read them.

Houghton Library Visually Impaired Persons Reading Group

Meet once a month on a Tuesday 2pm to 4pm.

City Library and Arts Centre Visually Impaired Persons Reading Group 

Meet the last Friday of every month 10am to 12noon.
For further information please contact the Access and Inclusion Librarian on (0191) 514 1235.
