This Greenpeace site has an excellent interactive interface giving a lot of information in
audio and video clips, as well as pictures and text information. Requires a fast machine
with a variety of plug-ins ( Shockwave, a video/audio player and Acrobat Reader) to import
the videos, soundtrack and animation. With special coverage of burning fossil fuels,
impact on the environment, the greenhouse effect, the carbon cycle, etc.

This site is dedicated to education in, about and for the environment and includes a whole
host of information for teachers and pupils alike. There are vital tours of ponds and the
countryside, each with educational activities of pupils and worksheets and teachers notes
alongside. A picture gallery and fieldwork section makes this an excellent site for KS 1
and KS2 level science.
