Brush up on your digital imaging and heritage skills - Washington Town Centre Library and Customer Service Centre is offering two short courses for adults with a local heritage theme. All courses are free and start in the week beginning 25 January and last for four weeks:

Reminiscence and Oral History Skills - Wednesday 27 January 1.00pm, to 3.30pm

Creation of Heritage Resources - Develop your own Memory Box - Thursday 28 January 1.00pm, to 3.30pm

Family Tree taster sessions using Ancestry - Receive advice and support in first steps to tracing your family tree using the Ancestry website at the:
City Library and Arts Centre
- Last Tuesday of the month from 2.30pm to 3.30pm

North East Festival of Learning - A Learning Revolution is taking place at libraries in the North East from January to March 2010 and you can be part of it.  Simply call in to your local library to enjoy a whole host of learning opportunities.
