There's always an exciting programme of entertainment and activities across the vast airshow site.

And, there's always plenty of food and drink available all along the seafront.

Toilets and accessible facilities

Toilets (including accessible toilets for people with disabilities) are available across the Airshow site.

The National Glass Centre (NGC) has an Adult Changing Place facility. It can be used by those Airshow visitors who may require such accessible welfare facilities. It is accessible by use of a RADAR key (which can be obtained from the NGC reception).

Wheelchairs are available free of charge from Rosscare Shopmobility outside the Seaburn Centre.

Baby changing

Baby changing facilities are available:

  • Beside the Tram Shelter, Whitburn Road (opposite Recreation Park)
  • In Roker Park

Lost children

Found children will be taken to the nearest of:

  • The Seaburn Centre
  • Beside the Tram Shelter, Whitburn Road (opposite Recreation Park)
  • Lifeguard station, Marine Walk

Make sure your child is wearing a wristband securely to their wrist and that you have added your contact details to the front. This will make it much easier for an event official to reunite you with your child.

Please visit our Stay safe at Sunderland International Airshow page for other helpful information.

First aiders will be available at:

  • The Seaburn Centre
  • Bede's Cross (next to the Royal Navy ground display)
