Being a member of one of Sunderland's public libraries gives you access to thousands of books and other items; free access to the internet; music CDs and DVDs to borrow; homework support clubs; book clubs; large print books; talking books; children's story time sessions; study facilities; courses ... all with friendly staff at the heart of the community.

Please note - the City Lending Library has relocated to the Museum and Winter Gardens on Burdon Road and is now known as City Library @ Museum and Winter Gardens.

The Local Studies Library on the first floor of the Fawcett Street building will remain open as normal. Public access PCs are located on the ground floor of the Fawcett Street building within the Customer Service Centre.
