I have lived in this area all my life.  I am married with two sons and three grandsons.  Prior to being elected as a Councillor I worked at City of Sunderland College as a PA to a Vice Principal.  I was elected as a Councillor in 2004 to serve the electorate of Doxford Ward.  I am on the Planning and Highways Committee and I enjoy my work in the community, working alongside and supporting our volunteers.  My hobbies are shopping, reading and walking my son's spaniels.

I hold a Ward Surgery every last Thursday of the month (except during August and December) between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm at Doxford Park Community Centre.
