Ensuring children and young people stay safe

Ensuring children stay safe is the second outcome of the Every Child Matters Change for Children.

Children and young people in Sunderland want to be safe.

This means being safe at home and at school and in the community. It means preventing bullying and racism and having less children and young people hurt in traffic accidents.

Children's Services provide the following services to ensure children and young people stay safe.
