We did...and introduced taxi marshals: who marshal the main taxi ranks on the busiest nights to prevent any disorder and make you feel safer.

You said..."you wanted to be healthier."

We did...Put six Wellness Centres at the heart of our communities, which are helping to reduce chronic heart disease, obesity levels and improving health and wellbeing.

Staff taking you to the shops We asked...

You said..."make it easier for older and vulnerable people to get to the shops."

We did...and now our community minibuses take 800 elderly and disabled passengers for their food shopping every week.

Staff making your homes safer We asked...

You said..."help everyone feel safer in their own homes."

We did...and provided 7,461 free home safety checks last year, additional home security to victims of crime and reduced total recorded crime in Sunderland by 37% in the last five years.
