How to Pay
Some schools operate a cashless system to reduce the amount of money pupil’s carry around and to avoid singling out those receiving free school meals. Cards are issued to new pupils at the start of term by the school office. Replacement cards can be obtained from the school for a small fee. Please contact your school office or catering supervisor for more information.

Alternately cash can also be used in some schools. Please check with the school to confirm the exact arrangements.

Free School Meals
You may be entitled to free school meals for your child. Please use the link below to find out more.

Nutritional Information
Being healthy is about having a balanced diet where no food is a bad food, only a good and bad diet. There are 5 food groups that make up a balanced diet. Fruits, vegetables and carbohydrates make up two thirds of the diet as these contain vitamins and minerals and provide the body with energy.

We should aim to eat 3 portions of dairy foods to help our bones and teeth grow strong and 2-3 portions of protein to help the body grow and repair. Small amounts of fatty and sugary foods are allowed in the diet as these provide the body with energy and protect vital organs in the body.

School meals are nutritionally balanced to ensure pupils receive 14 vital nutrients needed for good health.
