Internet Payments 

The service is provided by Girobank's Billpay scheme on behalf of the Council. You do not need to hold a Girobank account and the service is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

What will I need? 

To pay your Council bill online you will need: 

•  your reference number shown on your bill or invoice
•  the amount you wish to pay 
•  your debit card details.

•  Housing Benefit Overpayments (for newer invoice numbers that are 8 digits in length also beginning with 8)

•  Periodic Income Account
•  Planning Fee
•  Registrars Copy Certificate
•  Sundry Debtor Account

Payment requests made using BillPay are subject to authorisation and clearance timescales like any other payment method. It will therefore take 4 working days for your payment to be received by the bill issuer, please allow for this if your payment is required by a particular date.
