Out of school activities
If you're looking for out of school
activities or childcare (0-14 years) the
Children's
Information Service (CIS)
is the place
to start. A comprehensive database, searchable by area, provides you
with the information you need to find appropriate childcare. You can
search the
database now
or request
information and advice by e-mail
or phone 0191 5535678. You can also drop in to the Learning Place on
Fawcett Street where staff from the CIS are available every Monday.
Out of school activities are offered by a variety of other
organisations in Sunderland. Opportunities offered by local
libraries are provided on the 'Encouraging children
and young people to enjoy and achieve' home page listed under 'Other useful
information'.
If you offer out of school activities or childcare and would like to be
included on the database please contact the CIS.
