The preference periods to apply for a school place in September 2009 have now closed and you are no longer able to apply for a school place online.  If you have applied for a school place online during the preference period you can still log on and view your application. 

Don't worry if you have missed the deadline - you can still make a late application.  Please contact a member of the School Admissions Team who will answer any questions you have and send an application pack out to you.

The admission criteria for September 2009 for all schools within Sunderland has been considered by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator. This is to ensure that it is clear, fair, easy to understand and most of all compliant with the Admissions Code. This has meant that some governing bodies have been required to reconsider their admission criteria which was published in the 'Admission to Schools' booklets.
