Encouraging children and young people to enjoy and achieve

To encourage children and young people to enjoy and achieve is the third outcome of the Every Child Matters Change for Children.

Children and young people in Sunderland want to be happy and proud of themselves.

This means going to school every day and doing well in exams and assessments. It means having plenty of things to do in their spare time, such as taking part in sport, using computers and enjoying art and music. It means feeling confident and happy and most of all having a good time.

Children's Services provide the following services to ensure children and young people enjoy and achieve.
