Supporting children and young people in achieving economic well-being

Supporting children in achieving economic well-being is the fifth outcome of the Every Child Matters Change for Children.

Children and young people in Sunderland want to have enough money.

This means doing well at school and getting into further education, training or getting a job and getting the qualifications to get a good job. It means earning enough money to live on - to have a decent house and to be able to get about.

Children's Services provide the following services to support children and young people to achieve economic well-being.
