 Washington Leisure Centre and Wellness Centre

Get sporty with a splash at Washington Leisure Centre, a great place to get fit and have fun.

The pool has something for everyone, with lanes for swimming, an exciting aquamania flume, aquafit, and lessons for all ages and abilities.

If you prefer dry land, there’s plenty to do in the sports hall, which is available for 5-a-side football, basketball, netball, badminton and table tennis! Racquet sports fans can also enjoy the squash courts.

There are fitness classes and the Wellness gym to keep you toned and trim, or, if you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, the sauna and steamroom are a great way to unwind.

To keep the kids entertained, Tumble Tank soft play area is ideal. Or why not let them learn something new, at one of the many clubs, including gymnastics, trampolining and martial arts? We also have activities for children aged 2 to 5 years old, Tumble Tots which is a floor based activity using equipment to encourage and improve coordination and Bouncing Babies which takes place on the trampolines.

During the holidays, there’s plenty for them to do on our activity-packed programmes. For their birthday, why not have a party at Washington Leisure Centre, where you can have the pool, soft play or sports hall to yourselves. The party room can make any event a special occasion. We can also provide room hire for a whole range of activities.

Washington Leisure Centre is easy to find, right in the centre of Washington, just next to the Galleries. There’s lots of free parking in the galleries, and the bus stop is less than five minutes away.
