The six lane Athletics Track is fully floodlit and is the home of the City of Sunderland's Harriers Athletics Club who train every Tuesday and Thursday evening between 6.30pm and 8.30pm throughout the year.  The venue is also used throughout the summer months by Houghton and Peterlee Harriers Athletics Club on Mondays and Wednesdays between 7.00pm and 8.00pm.  In addition, the facilities are regularly used by Schools for Sports Days and other events.  The Athletics Track and field activities are available for hire both for Club Meetings and Recreational Sessions.
