We:
  • Make arrangements for disposal of all of the waste collected from households and businesses in Sunderland, at reasonable cost to its residents and without environmental harm.
  • Arrange for the provision and servicing of facilities to permit householders in Sunderland to recycle specified commodities (e.g. glass, newspapers and magazines, cans, textiles, books, foil and compost).  Details of recycling sites.
  • Provide, free of charge, advice to householders and businesses in Sunderland on recycling, waste reduction and minimisation.
