If you are a Sunderland Housing Group tenant and have a problem with a tree in your garden in the first instance you should contact your local housing office or ring 0191 5255000 If you need to check if a tree in you garden is protected, contact Sunderland City Council on 0191 5205506 If you are an owner occupier or private
tenant the Council can not help with pruning trees in your garden. We
can offer some advice on choosing a
