Comments made must be on planning grounds
only. Relevant issues could include; contrary to local or national
policy, loss of privacy, bad design or over-development, dangerous
access, loss of amenity through noise, nuisance etc.
Please note that any comments that you
provide may be published on the Council's internet site until such time
when a decision is made on the application you are commenting on.
Once a decision has been made, all comments will be removed from the
Council's internet site and will therefore no longer be available for
public viewing.
In order to insert a comment, you will
need to follow the instructions below:
- Click on the Submit a Comment
Button below (this will link you to the planning applications
database).
- Insert the Application Reference
Number into the Application Reference Field and then click on
the Search button (this will bring up a new view which should hold
summary details of the planning application you wish to comment
upon).
- Click on the relevant Arrow in the
Click to View column on the far right hand side of the screen (this
will bring up a new screen with detailed information on the planning
application you may wish to comment upon).
- Click on the Submit Comments
Button (this will link you with the Comments element of the system).
- Complete the Comments Form, insert
your comments and once you are happy with what you have inserted
click the Submit Comments Button at the bottom of the screen (your
comments will be submitted to the Council for consideration).
