Sunderland Partnership
structure
The Sunderland Partnership brings together public, private, voluntary
and community sector organisations to work together for the overall
benefit of the city, by providing direction and co-ordination through a
shared vision for the future of Sunderland.
The shared vision is broken down into 8 strategic objectives with
each objective having a thematic partnership group. The thematic
partnership groups are responsible for developing the policy in their
area, and the projects and programmes to deliver the agenda. The 8
strategic objectives are:
Creating a prosperous city
Extending cultural opportunities
Improving the quality, choice and range of housing
Improving health and social care
Reducing crime and fear of crime
Raising standards and improving access and participation in learning
Developing an attractive and accessible city
Creating inclusive communities
