From time to time, groups of residents within the City wish to get
together to ask the Council to deal with a particular problem or
request. One way to do this is to sign a petition and to have your
local Councillor present it for you to the Council. The matter will
then be considered and the Council will give the petitioners a written reply
to their petition.
