Sunderland has excellent road links with the A19 and A1M. We're only 22 miles away from Newcastle Airport. Our Metro link with Newcastle has nine Metro stations two of which serve the Stadium of Light and Stadium Park. Our city centre Transport Interchange is the busiest bus station outside London's Victoria. Spirit of Light will only be minutes away by Metro. The Stadium of Light has 1,300 car parking spaces which will also serve the Sunderland Aquatic Centre.
