Floral Tributes
Garden of Remembrance
In general all floral tributes which are brought to the Crematorium by the
funeral cortege will be placed on the Garden of Remembrance. Areas of the lawn
are allocated for each day of the week as indicated by signs on the Garden.
Floral Tributes are removed from the Garden as follows:
Flowers from funerals on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday are removed on
the following Monday morning.
Flowers from funerals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are removed on the
following Thursday morning.
This arrangement allows the tributes to be displayed for at least 5 days as
recommended by the Federation of Cremation Authorities.
You may remove your flowers from the Garden prior to disposal however it is
advisable to notify the Crematorium Staff before you do so.
Hall of Remembrance
Provision has been made for families to bring cut flowers to the crematorium
in memory of loved ones on the anniversary of their death and place them in
vases provided within the Hall of Remembrance.
Families are reminded that the
floral tributes may be taken from the Hall to decorate other rooms in the
crematorium.
After a reasonable time they will be removed by the crematorium
staff
