Sunderland City Council's Adult Services Drug and Alcohol Team provides access to treatment and rehabilitation services for people aged over 18 who wish to address their drug or alcohol problems.

The team work closely with specialist health and voluntary services locally and regionally to give the best access to services for each individual.

The Drug and Alcohol Team aim to arrange services quickly and will ask you for information about yourself and your situation and how urgent your need for help is. We may need to involve other professionals, such as your doctor to make sure you receive all the help that you need. We will involve you in this process so that you know what is going on at all times.

Everyone is an individual, therefore services offered will be different depending on your needs. Together we will try to agree on the best way to help you.

Visit your local Adult Services Office or contact us at  Longterm.conditions@.sunderland.gov.uk for further information.
